Returns Policy In Store

Unfortunately we have had to tighten our returns policy in store. We just want to outline the policy here but please speak to a member of staff if you are unsure.

We do accept returns in our stores. But we have had to put restrictions on a couple of products that we have listed below. Please note that of course if the product is genuinely faulty we will return and your statutory rights will not be affected.


Dog Collars and Leads - If you buy the wrong size and have left the tag on you can exchange for the correct size. When you buy a collar or lead you will be reminded to keep the tag on to save any hassle if you do need to exchange it. Unfortunately if you remove the tags we can not exchange the item.


Dog Harnesses- If we fit - There are no returns or exchanges if we fit the harness to your dog in store. Our staff are all trained in fitting and you will be asked if you are happy before you leave the store. If the harness develops a fault then we can return or exchange.


Dog Harnesses - If we didn't fit - You are welcome to exchange your dog harness for the correct size providing all the packaging is with it and complete. We do not offer returns. You can exchange your dog harness for other items in the store if that is preferable to you.

Dog Coats - If we fit - There are no returns or exchanges if we fit the coat to your dog in store. Our staff are all trained in fitting and you will be asked if you are happy before you leave the store. If the coat develops a fault then we can return or exchange.


Dog Coats - If we didn't fit - You are welcome to exchange your dog coat for the correct size providing all the packaging is with it and complete. We do not offer returns. You can exchange your dog coat for other items in the store if that is preferable to you.


Brushes & Combs - We cannot return any grooming equipment once it has been opened for hygiene reasons. We also do not return grooming equipment unless their is a fault. You may exchange un-opened, un-used grooming equipment only.

Frontline Plus, Drontal and Panacur Wormers - Legally we are not allowed to return these even if you have bought the wrong size, someone else has bought one in your family etc. It is not our decision it is the law and one of the rules of keeping our licence. We are sorry about that.


Dog Toys - We do not return or exchange dog toys unless there is a manufacturing fault. Manufacturing faults do not include the dog chewing up the toy, the dog breaking the stitching, the dog damaging the toy in any way. No toy is indestructible. We can help you choose a tougher toy but please remember it is designed to be chewed and destroyed. It is not specific to breed or size of dog as every individual is different.


Please be aware, 'faulty' is not any of the reasons listed below:


The dog has chewed it

The dog doesn't like it

The dog wont wear it

The dog wont play with it

The dog ripped it apart

The dog doesn't suit it


We will assess the item when it is returned. General wear and tare is also not covered.
